Shaw Residence

This high-end custom residence is the first GreenPoint Rated home for New Construction in the town of Woodside. It is set on a 3.64-acre site, most of which is landscaped and maintained without using water from outside the property. The home was built utilizing leading-edge technology and sustainability features including; a ClearEdge5TM hydrogen fuel cell producing 43 MWh annually and an onsite alternative wastewater system designed to provide over 50% of landscape irrigation. Additionally, it has over 5,500 sf of FSC-certified hardwood flooring; reclaimed old growth timber structural trusses and architectural beams; hydronic radiant floor heating; and smart building cloud-based automation and controls with secure online operation.

Incorporates a hydrogen Fuel Cell to generate 5kW 120/240V AC power and 20,000 BTU’s of continuous heat per hour.
